Bruceallenfund.org website has been established to collect monies for such a scholarship fund. (A benefit show was presented at First Avenue nightclub, Minneapolis, MN Saturday, February 13, 2010 to honor Bruce's memory. Monies collected from the show will be used to establish the Fund.) All monies collected through the website and through donations received elsewhere will go towards the Fund.

Funds will be allocated once a year, to one recipient a year. Applicants to the Fund must be residents of the State of Minnesota. Students can be any age but must be pursuing a degree. Scholarship monies are available only for academically accredited schools and for the purpose of degree credits towards a diploma in art or music.

Submissions will include a completed Application Form, and include a one page essay describing the applicant's artistic and/or musical history and academic goals. Two letters of recommendation are required as well.

Applications must be by mail and no later each year than the end of January. Applcations will be considered by the Scholarship Fund in February. The annual Recipient (and other applicants) will be notified by March 31.
